COVID-19 – Our message to the Italian EADV members

Dear EADV Members of Italy,

Dear Colleagues,

The EADV is closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and the evolution of the situation in European countries, particularly in regard to Italy.

We are saddened about the current situation and the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic on the life of those affected and the impact on the Italian population.

We would like to express our sincere support to all colleagues affected by the expanding outbreak of COVID-19 in Italy.

We acknowledge, respect and thank you for your commitment to anticipate, confront and manage the arising challenges.

Dear Prof. Paul and Prof. Marinović ,

We have greatly appreciated your warm message to the Italian EADV members and wish to thank you for your support, for sharing affinity and special understanding in this hard time.

Our work is getting more and more demanding every day, but even though we are still in the heart of the current difficulties, we hope that the drastic measures to stop the spread of the infection, the excellent and tremendous work of the Government and Doctors and the sense of responsibility of the Italians will help to limit the outbreak and stop the spread of the disease.

We also feel confident in the scientific community and are looking forward to any breakthrough in the fight against the virus.
