Cardiovascular disease and atopic dermatitis: epidemiological strengths and limitations.
We agree with the commentaries on the complex association between cardiovascular (CV) disease and atopic dermatitis (AD). A meta-analysis will only report the current sum of published evidence at time of data collection. The recent UK study adds nuances to the discussion and finds a slightly increased risk of CV disease in severe AD.
