From Uncertainty to Action: Practical HS Management for the Clinic
Join seven leading European hidradenitis suppurativa experts for a free, interactive masterclass in Vienna on the evening before the EADV Congress 2026 opens.
The expert faculty comprises Professor John Ingram (UK), Professor Francesca Prignano (Italy), Professor Gregor B. E. Jemec (Denmark), Professor Falk G. Bechara (Germany), Dr Antonio Martorell (Spain), Professor Farida Benhadou (Belgium) and Dr Lukasz Matusiak (Poland).
Together, they bring extensive expertise across medical therapy, treatment sequencing, procedural and surgical management, clinical outcomes, guideline development and multidisciplinary HS care.
This 3.5-hour, EBAC-accredited workshop is designed around the decisions that can be most challenging in everyday HS practice. Through realistic clinical cases, expert-led discussion and an extended breakout workshop, participants will explore how to:
- Recognise HS phenotypes and assess disease effectively
- Select, sequence and escalate medical treatments
- Integrate procedural, surgical and supportive approaches
- Manage moderate-to-severe disease and respond to flares
- Set treatment goals and adjust management longitudinally
- Communicate treatment expectations effectively with patients
Aligned with the 2025 European Clinical Guidelines, the programme will translate current evidence into practical strategies that participants can apply in their own clinics.
