30th EADV Congress

Distinguished Presidents,

Dear Colleagues,

We all look forward to welcoming you to the 30th EADV Congress this year and celebrating with you this very special Anniversary Event.

In light of the current developments of the pandemic, we have conducted a thorough analysis of the possible scenarios for the organization of our Congress. Despite the strong desire to return to a face-to-face gathering, the progresses made by the COVID-19 vaccination programme and the improvements in prevention and treatment, the situation in Europe and all over the world is still uncertain and, unfortunately, not considered safe.

Keeping on top of our priorities our responsibility for the health of our delegates, employees, industry partners and all other participants, we have decided to proceed with the organization of a fully virtual congress:

While we are sincerely disappointed about this needed decision, we remain extremely positive and encouraged by the exceptional success of last year’s virtual congress.

The organization is in progress and our Scientific Programming Committee has already drawn up a top-level scientific programme. Moreover, we will seize all the latest improvements and features to deliver an even more engaging and outstanding virtual experience to our delegates.

Last but not least, the celebration of our 30th EADV Congress gives us further impetusto achieve at best this important milestone for our Academy and we hope you will not miss this unique educational and networking experience!

In the meantime, we look forward to connecting with you sooner at ourfirst virtual EADV Spring Symposium, which is less than 2 months ahead, and we take this occasion to attach our letter sent earlier in January. Your contribution in spreading the message about this event is still highly appreciated.
