6th EADO Congress

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to attend the 6th Congress of the European Association of Dermatologic Oncology which will be held in the beautiful resort of Astir Palace Hotel in Vouliagmeni, Athens on June 16-19, 2010.

The Congress is organized by the European Association of Dermatologic Oncology, a leading international organization in the field of skin cancer, in collaboration with the Department of Dermatology of the University of Athens.

As a wealth of new information is arising from the rapidly evolving field of cutaneous oncology, the 6th EADO Congress aims to provide you with a comprehensive overview of the most recent advances in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers.

During the Congress you will have the opportunity to attend state-of-the-art presentations given by leading experts of the field and to participate in informative discussions covering the entire spectrum of cutaneous malignancies, including melanoma, cutaneous lymphoma, epithelial skin cancers and other skin tumors.

Keynote lectures, plenary sessions and interactive symposia will focus on the most current and controversial topics of dermatologic oncology, from the epidemiology, biology and genetics of melanoma to the results of the most recent therapeutic trials and translational research on malignant skin tumors.

In addition, abstract submission will offer a unique opportunity to discuss your work with faculty and congress participants. The ultimate goal of the meeting is to enhance your knowledge with up-to date information and address important issues that will assist you on your everyday management of patients with melanoma and other skin tumors.

The Congress will also offer a capacious industrial exhibition, as well as a number of social events and opportunities to travel to the surroundings of Athens and the nearby islands.
