We expect some 30 oral presentations and 3 guest lectures + posters. Registrants to the EMC will have a choice to join our sessions (a 90 seat hall).

SCUR members will join EMC during these 2 days at a flat fare of 250€. We shall make our own call for contributions but EMC submissions could be also incorporated to our sessions, based on their scientific interest. The deadlines, social events and the detailed plan of the sessions will be posted in November. As this will be the end of summer vacations, some participants could enjoy Lyon and its surroundings while coming back from holidays. Lyon is easily reachable by plane, TGV high speed train (2h from Paris), and by car.

SCUR Annual Meeting Awards

The Society awards the best oral and the best poster presentation at the annual meeting. In addition, travel grants are offered to young members of the SCUR.

In 2016, SCUR offers :

1. THREE Awards

• Best young scientist presentation (200 €)
• Best oral presentation (200 €)
• Best poster presentation (200 €)

2. FOUR Travel Grants (200 € each)

• for junior scientists (students and researchers under 35 y.o.) and technicians, members of SCUR (either active members or prospective new members submitting SCUR membership application simultaneously.
