Fondazione IBSA promotes scientific research and education by supporting the professional training of the most deserving scholars from Italy and other countries of the world.

Fondazione IBSA offers two grants to support research fellowships for 12 months in dermatology or rheumathology, for a total amount of ¤ 24,000.00 per grant.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants are under 40, who are graduates of medicine, biology, pharmacy, biotechnology degree programs (including individuals with prior clinical or research experience), who seek additional research experience in centers of excellence in Italy and abroad.

Application

Applicants should include in the proposal:

• Curriculum vitae and bibliography
• a short description of the research that they propose and the research plan (2 pages max).
• a letter of acceptance by the host institution

Evaluation

A confidential evaluation of the proposals will be conducted by the international scientific board of the Fondazione IBSA. The Fondazione IBSA Direction will make final award decisions upon considering the recommendations of the international scientific board. Final award decisions are indisputable. Awardees will be invited to attend a ceremony that will take place in the first quarter of 2014 at the headquarters of the Foundation in Lugano (CH).
