ECA 2018 will provide successful candidates with the insight, knowledge and skills to translate their pioneering research from the laboratory to the pharmaceutical market.
During the course, the successful candidates will cover a variety of topics such as:
- The drug development process from discovery through to investigational new drug application
- Understanding the business potential of research
- Obtaining and defending intellectual property rights and patents
- Evaluating the market value of an asset
- Pitching a business plan to investors and partners
At the end of the course, the successful candidates will work in groups to apply their learning and develop business plans based on a drug case study.
